Local Newsletter - to keep local residents up to date with activities
Harold Wilson said that "a week is a long time in politics" and the same can be true in Local Government, with a diverse range of issues from the local through to the strategic.
But each one affects someone living locally, either today or is likely to have some bearing at some stage in the future, whether it is about building enough houses of all types of tenure and sizes across the Borough, preventing or reducing the incidence of homelessness or ensuring that many of our key voluntary sector groups are sustainable going forwards or whether it is about reducing the incidence of dog fouling in a local area. Trying to keep local residents up to speed with the work across such a wide range of issues can be problematic, led to the decision to create a regular Newsletter for local residents to be able to access either directly, online or here
